Time flies when you’re having fun (or in Brazil)! The last couple of days have been filled with the screening project, men’s conference and awesome conversations. Our team is working well together and making great progress putting screens in huge openings. It’s hot and humid and hard work but they keep progressing, sharing tools and frustrations with how things seem to go here with materials. The wood is stout and heavy and full of opportunities for splinters. Trips to hardware stores is always an adventure. The language barrier and lack of inventory make for creativity in getting things done. Our missionary David Taylor has been the lead on construction and keeps things moving along.

Preaching to the men was a blessing for me on Tuesday night. Including tonight, I get to do that three more times before we leave. Meeting with pastor Tele and pastor Ricardo and hearing about church plants, new towns and new souls in the Kingdom always inspire me and stir my heart to try new things for the Lord.

Prayers appreciated for continued opportunities to grow the Kingdom, help the Abba Camp and Spirit-filled conversations to encourage and dream about ways to make Jesus known!
