The day has finally arrived to got on some airplanes and make our way to Carpina, Brazil. There’s been a lot of prayer and preparation that have gone into these next few days and I’m hopeful and expectant that God will work in us and through us. We will be meeting up with the World Renewal Brazil missionaries who have been faithfully serving the Lord in NE Brazil for over 30 years now. God has begun to multiply the seed sown over those years as new church plants seem to be starting almost every month. They have a vision to plant 200 churches there and this year they will crack the 40 mark. Their ministries are vibrant and active as they bring the gospel of Jesus into towns that don’t have a witness for Him. Go to this website to read more about the mission in Brazil

Our time there will be short, June 8-17,  but we hope to be busy about the Father’s business. Lord willing, we’ll be there tomorrow mid-day and meet up with 2 more members of our team, Dr. Tim Roehl and his wife Shirley. Dr. Tim and I will be preaching throughout the week and visiting towns where WR Brazil is looking to start churches. Prayer walks and neighborhood interactions are on the agenda. Custom Exteriors, a local Indiana home improvement company, is sending 4 others with us, Johnathan, Drew, Amanda and Isaac. They will be doing some work at the Abba Camp to continue it’s development and preparation for school kids to come for day camp. Dr. Tim and I also have the chance to preach at a men’s conference four night next week. Men’s ministry is near and dera to my heart and I can’t wait to see who comes and what God does while we are together.

Please pray for us as we travel for smooth, on time flights, healthy bodies and a little sleep on the plane. I’ll do my best to keep the posts coming throughout the week. We take off at 2p Indiana time! – pg
